Congratulations to Chase Vrba, MCC's September 2025 Student-Athlete of the Month. The Prairie Ridge High School graduate has competed on our Men's Soccer team for the past two seasons.  Chase is a defenseman and one of the team captains for the Scots, who are 6-3-1 on the season.

Coach Jeff Nehila states, "Chase's competitiveness and leadership on and off the pitch are integral to the team's focus and drive. We're very fortunate to have Chase as part of our team's resurgence."

Chase plans to attend and compete at a four-year college next year. He will graduate with an Associate in Science degree and is on track to receive ISCC All-Academic honors and NJCAA Academic All-American honors.

"We are proud to be part of Chase's bright future, not only on the pitch but in the classroom. He has a strong desire to compete and has grown here as a player and student," adds Director of Athletics Karen Wiley.
