Joshua Hill is the Head Coach for the Men’s Soccer team beginning Fall 2020. He owns and operates Hilltop Fitness in Cary. He developed the private company, starting boot-camp style classes, cardio, and kickboxing classes, and working with private clientele. Joshua also ran and owned Matrix Football Club, a soccer club for U8 to U14 players. Thirteen of his players moved on to play collegiately at all levels. He also has professional playing experience in Spain, Holland, and England with SBV Excelsior, Coventry, and Newport Town teams.
Josh earned a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Southern Indiana in 2004. He worked as a Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Patient Care Technical Nursing Assistant at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville, IN. He also worked with an Orthopedic Unit, developing programs and modes for patients with multiple fractures, joint replacements or movement issues to regain the standard of life for full muscle recovery and range of motion.
Joshua’s collegiate career was at the University of Southern Indiana, playing goalkeeper, 2001-2004. Here his team won a regular-season conference title, earned a birth to two GLVC tournaments, one title appearance, and were ranked as high as #18 in national NCAA DII polls.
Joshua brings great leadership skills to the Men’s Soccer program and looks forward to building the program and team with his positive lookout, enthusiasm, and drive for excellence on the pitch and in the classroom.
