Congratulations to Sarah Gallivan as our April Student-Athlete of the Month. The Grant High School graduate plays for our softball team this spring. The freshman plays both catcher and infield. As lead-off batter for the team, she is hitting .333 for the 16-5 Scots. Head Coach Wally Warner has designated her as one of the team's captains. "She provides positive leadership on the field and in the classroom for our team. She is well-respected by all of her teammates."

She is also on track to earn Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference All-Academic Team honors as a freshman.

"We're proud of Sarah and her accomplishments on the field and in the classroom," adds Director of Athletics Karen Wiley.
